LIFE Research & Consult is currently preparing to introduce ACER's "International Schools’ Assessment" (ISA) to Germany.
The ISA instruments assess the reading, writing and mathematical literacy of students in grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 or 10, and are based on the internationally endorsed reading and mathematical literacy frameworks of the OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Currently, LIFE is planning for the piloting of the instruments in German schools (with about 1800 students); first implementation will take place in fall 2004.
