The ACER cooperation

Mid 2003 LIFE Research & Consult has started a cooperation with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), Victoria, one of the world’s leading research centers in the domain of education.

The main pillar of the collaboration is the “International Schools’ Assessment” (ISA), an assessment program measuring mathematical and reading literacy, as well as writing skills of students from grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 or 10. While the tests are designed and developed by ACER for students whose language of instruction is English, LIFE Research & Consult is adapting the instruments to serve students in Germany.
