LIFE is an acronym standing for
"Luxembourg International Foundation for Education".
The main goal of the foundation is to sponsor and facilitate educational projects which do not necessarily fit the
agenda of both mainstream educational research and public education authorities. It aims at identifying major challenges for education in an early phase and encourages highly innovative projects
that take up these challenges.
LIFE focuses on globalization issues in education and on solutions which make ample use of international collaboration. Transfer of technology and know-how to
developing nations is a LIFE priority.
